Blessed Beginnings
Mt. Chestnut Christian Preschool provides 3-5 year olds with learning experiences in a positive Christian environment.
Our goals are to:
Provide spiritual growth as well as social, intellectual, physical and emotional growth for preschool age children.
Encourage sharing, creativity and friendship in a caring structured environment.
Support Christian teachings and values.
Encourage self-worth, health, and self-confidence.
Parental involvement is encouraged!
Our Curriculum includes learning about:
Manners, Sharing & Taking Turns, Alphabet & Letter Recognition, Patterning Sequences, Circle Time (calendar, weather, singing, prayer, group discussions, Bible stories), Learning Centers, Listening Skills & Following Directions, Language Development, Shapes & Colors. The 4-5 year old class curriculum also includes preparation for Kindergarten.
We also have … field trips, special guests, holiday and birthday celebrations, an onsite outdoor playground, Parent-Teacher conferences, and several family programs.
Classes Offered
We provide both a qualified Teacher and a Teacher’s Assistant per class.
3 Year Old Programs – Two Days Per Week
Tuesday/Thursday 9:30am - 11:30am -OR- 12:30pm to 2:30pm
Maximum Class size is 12 children (Children must be potty trained and 3 years old by September 1st)
Cost: $95 per month
4 & 5 Year Old Programs – Three Days Per Week
Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 9:00am to 11:30am Maximum Class size is 18 children (Children must be potty trained and 4 years old by September 1st)
Cost: $125 per month
4 & 5 Year Old Programs – Two Days Per Week
Monday/Wednesday 12:30pm to 3:00pm Maximum Class size is 16 children (Children must be potty trained and 4 years old by September 1st)
Cost: $100 per month
Registration
Our school year runs September through May. A Non-Refundable fee of $25.00 and the first month’s tuition (payable to Mt. Chestnut Christian Preschool) must accompany the registration form. Admission is on a first come first served basis. Mt. Chestnut Christian Preschool does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religious or national origin. Meet the Staff
Michele Gonda, Teacher – Mrs. Gonda joined our preschool team in 2010. She creates a fun and positive environment for children to learn. She and her husband reside in Butler with their two daughters, one being an alumnus of Mt. Chestnut Preschool!
Tricia Dulya, Assistant – Mrs. Dulya joined our preschool team in 2009. She enjoys helping in the classroom, and creating and atmosphere of love and caring. She and her husband and son reside in Butler.
